Amusement park car accident leads to 3 injuries over the weekend

When people go to an amusement park, it’s so that they can get away from their real-world problems for a little while and experience some excitement. Roller coasters might seem like they are dangerous, but it’s a controlled danger. Riders shouldn’t have to worry that they are actually going to be injured as a result of being on a roller coaster.

Getting out of the park, however, might be another matter. Over the weekend, two vehicles that were leaving Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson collided with each other. The car accident led to at least three people being injured and taken to the hospital in Freehold.

It wasn’t immediately clear what led to the accident, or how seriously injured the victims were. An incident such as this one, however, can serve as a reminder that vehicles need to be mindful of their surroundings even if they are not on a public street or road. If two cars should collide at what proves to be a vulnerable angle for one or more of the vehicles, then injuries could result, even if the vehicles are traveling at relatively slow speeds at the time of the crash.

Regardless of the circumstances of an accident — whether it takes place on the New Jersey Turnpike or in a parking lot — if a driver or passenger is injured through no fault of their own, it may be beneficial to consult with an experienced car accident attorney who can guide them through the steps they need to take in order to seek compensation.
